How it works

How hot tub removal works in Metro Detroit

  1. Send photos when you book

Photos of the tub, access path, and any landscaping help us estimate the crew size and truck space.

  2. Drain the tub (we can or you can)

If the tub still holds water, we drain it before disassembly. Pre-drained tubs save 30–60 minutes.

  3. Disconnect power and lines

Power, gas (if applicable), and water lines are disconnected. Hard-wired panel work isn't included; we coordinate with an electrician if needed.

  4. Cut down on-site

Our crew brings reciprocating saws and cuts the shell into manageable sections so we can carry the pieces through gates and around landscaping without crane or fence removal.

  5. Carry-out and haul

Pieces are loaded onto the truck. Deck-friendly protection is laid where we walk.

  6. Disposal

Acrylic, fiberglass, and wood components go to appropriate recycling and disposal facilities. Old equipment (pumps, heaters) is recycled when intact.

  7. Final sweep

We rake or sweep the area where the tub sat. You sign off and pay the on-site quote.

A hot tub is built to last 15+ years. The downside is, when one finally stops working, it’s still built to last 15+ years — and that toughness is what makes removal a real job.

We bring crews who do hot tub teardowns regularly. We drain, cut, carry, and haul — usually in a single afternoon. Your deck stays intact, your fence stays up, and the spa goes away.

Frequently asked questions

Do you cut the hot tub apart on site?
Yes. We bring saws and break the tub into manageable sections so it can be carried through gates and around landscaping. No crane needed.
Will you damage my deck or fence?
No. That's why we cut on-site — so we don't have to lift the whole tub over a fence. If we need to remove a fence section, we'll discuss it before the day of removal.
Do you drain it?
Yes. We drain the water before disassembly. If the tub is already dry, even better.
How long does removal take?
Most standard hot tubs are out in 2-4 hours. Larger swim spas or tubs in tight spaces can take longer.
